I’m Tyler — An Honest Guide Through Real Estate Decisions
Buying or selling a home is a major decision, and it deserves the truth — not pressure or sales tactics.
I was born and raised in Calgary, and for 15+ years I’ve helped families move forward with confidence, clarity, and realistic expectations. My approach is simple: tell the truth, protect my clients, and make the process feel calm, organized, and well-explained.

Real Guidance Comes First
Real estate can feel overwhelming, especially when advice is conflicting or rushed.
I believe clients deserve:
- Straight answers
- Clear expectations
- Time to understand their options
Whether we’re discussing pricing, evaluating a home, or planning next steps, I’ll always explain why — not just what. Even when the truth is uncomfortable, it’s better than regret later.

A Background That Goes Beyond Showing Homes
Before real estate, my background in construction and renovation shaped how I see homes.
I don’t just look at surface finishes — I help clients understand:
- Build quality and workmanship
- Renovation potential and limitations
- Long-term value, not just first impressions
This perspective helps buyers avoid costly surprises and helps sellers prepare their homes in ways that actually matter to the market.
A Focus on South Calgary Communities
I specialize in South Calgary’s most family-focused communities, including:
- Auburn Bay
- Mahogany
- Cranston
These aren’t just areas I work in — they’re communities I know well. From schools and parks to layout, lifestyle, and pricing trends, I help families understand how each neighborhood truly functions day to day.

What It’s Like to Work With Me
Clients often describe working with me as:
- Unhurried — we go at your pace, not the market’s
- Direct — you hear the downside before you decide
- Organized — you always know what happens next
I match your pace. If you’re early in the process, we take our time. If you’re ready to move, I stay focused and prepared.
My role isn’t to push decisions — it’s to help you feel confident when you make them.
Why Families Refer Me
Most of my business comes from referrals, and I don’t take that lightly.
Families refer me because they know I’ll:
- Treat their friends and family with the same respect
- Explain the parts most people gloss over
- Protect their interests — even when it means slowing down
Trust is earned once, but it’s protected every day.

Let’s Talk When You’re Ready
Whether you’re buying your first home, moving up, selling, or just thinking things through — I’m happy to have a conversation.
You don’t need to know which way you’re leaning, or whether you’re moving at all.
Most of the people who refer me started with a single question they weren’t sure was worth asking.

Frequently Asked Questions
What areas of Calgary do you focus on?
South Calgary, and I keep it narrow on purpose: Auburn Bay, Mahogany, Cranston, McKenzie Lake, McKenzie Towne, Sundance, Lake Bonavista, Parkland, and Chaparral. Knowing nine communities properly is more useful to you than claiming to know the whole city.
What is your approach to real estate?
I explain why, not just what. That means telling you when a home is priced above what it’s worth, or when your timing would cost you money — before you’re committed, not after.
Can you help with both buying and selling?
Yes, and usually in the same move. Nearly all of my business is referral, so most people arrive already selling one home and buying another, which is really one timing problem wearing two hats.
Why does your renovation background matter?
Because I spent years in construction before real estate, I read a house through its mechanical room rather than its finishes — poly-B supply lines, grading that slopes back at the foundation, an attic still insulated to 1990s levels. Those decide what a home costs you after possession day.
